When a mother or parents makes the brave decision to surrender their baby under the Safe Haven Law, Safe Haven Providers must be prepared to offer help in what is often a crisis situation. If your organization is a designated Safe Haven Provider in your state, you are eligible to receive FREE Safe Haven Provider Training from NSHA. During this 20 minute training, you and your colleagues will learn about the Safe Haven Law, the process of accepting a surrendered infant, our recommended "best and safe practices", and how to leverage our 24/7 Crisis Response Team.
