Your generous contribution will help support the following National Safe Haven Alliance Projects:
Sign Project
In partnership with the National Exchange Club volunteers, NSHA is in the process of installing signs at hospitals across the United States that identify them as "Safe Haven Locations" where babies can be safely relinquished.
Mothers in Need
NSHA has also spent the last year developing a fund to assist mothers in need who may utilize the Safe Haven program.
State Organizations
NSHA is in the process of helping set up state organizations in areas with no local Safe Haven offices. (If you're interested in helping with this, please contact Evan at 751-228-7757)
Other NSHA Initiatives:
- Providing signs to fire stations and police stations that do not have funding to pay for the cost of signage
- Providing printed educational materials for clinics, schools and other organizations seeking to promote Safe Haven laws and awareness
- Helping state volunteers set up Safe Haven organizations in their area
- Maintaining our 24-hour hotline
The National Safe Haven Alliance and its affiliates are not-for-profit organizations. Donations are deductible under the IRS tax code 501c(3), meaning contributions qualify for tax deductions to the fullest extent allowed by law.
